Friday night, Kellie, Erin, Sheaffer and I drove down to Carrie's parents house on Lake Conroe to hook up with Carrie and Jill for the weekend. We got in late but were prepared to wake up Saturday morning and start off a great weekend.
Well, what a perfect girls weekend it turned out to be!
Well, what a perfect girls weekend it turned out to be!
This is the Connelly's amazing lake front home. The first thing you see when you drive up is this beautiful fountain in the circle drive
And then this amazing home! Talk about a "lake house"! There are these gorgeous glass front doors- you can see straight through from the front entrance all the way out to the lake and what a beautiful view that is!
Not a cloud in the sky....well, one tiny one! So Saturday morning we had breakfast out by the pool
and then decided to get out there on the lake and get some of the actionI was SO excited to get out there and play on the water
So VERY excited
All the girls had a blast on the tube
(and we really paid for it....every muscle was so sore the next day!)
And EVERYONE got up on the wakeboard
Here's Kellie tearing it up!
All the girls on the sunset "booze cruise" to finish off the perfect day!
Here we all are, waiting with Melinda on the side of the highway while Abel changes our tire. I know God sent us these angels to help us out, so a bad situation (4 girls on the side of the road with a flat tire and no one knows what to do?!) turned out to be the perfect ending to a perfect trip!
Jill, Erin, Sheaffer
Kellie, Carrie, Me
THANK YOU to Jim and Laura for hosting our weekend and taking such good care of us!!!
~
But wait....there's more...and this part isn't so perfect....We got a flat tire on I-45 about half way home. I was kinda freaked at first but then angles appeared by the names of Abel and Melinda to help us out. Here is Abel changing our tire
And how cool is this -- these strangers just happened to go to Sheaffers church! Coincidence? We think not!
