7 months old today

Just like always, this precious little boy woke up on his 7 month birthday with a smile on his face (and of course, a paci too!)

And smiled while rolling around the floor and stopping to reach for a hug

And, as usual, he just smiled and smiled while he played

(yes, we are still dealing with reflux, so he still wears a bib....often)

Then, Rachel duded him up with a funky hairstyle and some hip clothes! It turned out to be kind of an "Elvis-ish" look

He really channeled the Elvis in him in this one...
"Hey ladies, I love ya....Thank you, Thank you very much"
But here he is, just back to being my sweet ole boy!

And we're off to stroll around the neighborhood.

T.R.O.U.B.L.E.

Tuesday morning I before I left for work Creighton and I were playing in his room.

I was putting things away into this drawer and he was sitting on the floor and PULLED HIMSELF UP TO STANDING so he could see what was inside the drawer. It was so cute and he struggled so much to get there but he did it over and over again! How can it be that this child is going to be mobile soon when I feel like he was just born 5 seconds ago?

This pulling up business feels like the beginning of trouble to me!

Another "first"...

We've had a few "firsts" that have been noteworthy, like "first bath" and "first tooth" and "first food". This one is fairly remarkable as well...

His first sick.

Sunday night, after his bath, Creighton delivered this treat all over me and all over himself. After another bath, he did it again. And two more times after that (both in his crib - thank goodness for "the ultimate crib sheet" - such a necessity!). No fever or any other symptoms, just a barfarama!

From 7 pm - 9 pm I dealt with puke, clean up, puke, clean up, etc. and NOT ONCE did the little man cry or complain. He was just sweet, cuddly, and so so tired from his ordeal. We are now just working on getting back on track with his eating and sleeping schedule. What a trooper!

But, as you can see, I've worked really hard, and I've had about enough of this!

Lots to catch up on...

It's been a while (2 weeks?) since I've uploaded some pics of Creighton. So here are some highlights of a day in the life of little CT...

Eating in his new big boy high chair!

Of course, after eating, its time to change out of the dirty clothes into a new pair of hanging out clothes, which very quickly become saturated with drool, and so we'll be changing clothes again in no time...

and taking a snooze....mommy broke the rules and let little CT nap in her bed...just this once! Look at how sweet and fast asleep this little boy is

But then when Creighton wakes up, he's really awake and ready to party!

Megan's Dance Recital

My 3 year old niece, Megan, had her first dance recital.

She is the youngest in the class, and perhaps the most distracted...can you tell which one is Megan?

I couldn't wait to hug her and congratulate her after the recital! She did her very best up there and bowed beautifully

And she accepted her flowers gratefully, like any good performer!

Her exact words were "aahhh, how beautiful!"

Mothers Day

I still have more to post, but had to get this one up quickly because it just cracks me up. This is my little guy, just chillin on Mothers Day!

Creighton's new baby cousin has arrived! Meet Cade Gregory Kinsey

Lindsey and Matt are preparing for the arrival of their baby boy: Cade Gregory Kinsey!

Because Cade was breech, they were scheduled for a C-Section at 5:30 Monday evening

Cade is truly precious. He has the most adorable little nose and the sweetest little noises. We are delighted to have ANOTHER boy in our family and for Creighton to have a younger cousin to play with. Congratulations, Matt & Lindsey! We love your sweet family!

Daddy time

On Thursdays, Dave comes home from work early so he gets some Q.T. with C.T. while I am still working. They had lots of fun playing as you can tell
and Creighton had lots to learn about.
