Uh-Oh!

Wednesday night, after bath and before bed, Creighton was reading books in his room. I was laying on the floor and Dave was sitting right there, too. Creighton went to his bookshelf to pick out another book for us to read and he decided it would be a good idea to stand on his Aggie Football in front of his book case....not a good idea! He fell face first into his book case and busted his lip really bad. It bled everywhere on the inside of his lip and the outside too. He cried super hard for about 3 minutes, then he calmed down when we let him look at it in the mirror. Tough kid!
He even decided to show it off the next morning:

and he seemed pretty proud!
But all that bragging can tire a kid out : )

As the day went on, how quickly this child forgot his troubles!

This little monkey still wants to climb on everything. Luckily, I was able to capture him in action, truly acting like the monkey that he is!

The silly monkey loves to cuddle some too!

Sorry, Creighton about your busted lip. And wouldn't you know...it happend two days before his 18 month pictures. Of course!
But I'm sure there are many more bumps and bruises to come for a monkey like this!
