Merry Christmas 2010!!!
We had our family Christams pictures made and - I have to say - our kids make our pictures so beautiful and precious! Creighton was so cooperative and little Harper did not do any screaming at all...the flash stunned her a bit but she hung in there! Most of all, I'm thankful that Dave is such a happy participant. I know he dreads getting these pictures made but he does it so willingly and happily because he knows how much it means to me. And he's quite helpful with managing the kids while I select the "keeper" photos.
the girls
the boys
the babies
the joy!
the wonder!
the tenderness!
Christmas is filled with so many amazing moments!
Like this one!
Meeting Santa.
NOT Creightons favorite moment. But a classic one for sure!
and the special moment of waking up Christmas morning!
(yes, we let Creighton sleep in his Texas Rangers hat. It was Christmas for crying out loud! And yes, our strange, darling little boy wore his hat...all night!)
Now these pictures are from Christmas Eve at Pa and Mimi's house
(most commonly referred to as "PaMimi")
The Harps sure enjoyed spending time with her Aunt Suzanne
And even though he woke up with a fever - bless his little heart - Creighton enjoyed tearing into his Christmas presents.
Because of his fever, his reactions to each present were a little subdued,
but he managed a few smiles, like this one, and a few "wow-cool"s
but mostly we had this sweet not-feeling-so-good face. Poor baby.
Thank goodness for some quiet moments reading with Pa
and watching the lights on the disco ball with Aunt Suzanne
and now that the fever reducer medicine has kicked in, some crazy fun with Uncle Ben and toy cars on the tile floor! Maybe this Christmas is gonna be wild fun afterall!!!
So Merry Christmas Y'all
And A Happy New Year!
Okay...go ahead and get into some mischief next year, but not too much...Santa only comes to see the good boys and girls!
